Maintaining your body's ability to stay balanced decreases your susceptibility to falls. Balance is so much more than standing on one foot! Good balance requires multiple systems to work together. 

 

  • Lower extremity muscles need to be strong and flexible

  • Core muscles need to be engaged to keep you upright

  • Postural muscles need to respond to dynamic forces

  • Balance has to be challenged to improve!

It sounds complicated, but our expert Physical Therapists instructors make it safe and fun! We incorporate balance exercises into several of our 360 Fitness classes. We also have an online Balance and Fall Prevention class. If you are experiencing frequent falls, our recommendation would be one-on-one Physical Therapy. With regular practice, you can expect to feel more agile and more sure of yourself in all of life's situations.

How to Schedule an Appointment

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, Wellness 360 does accept most insurance plans.

Wellness 360 does an initial verification of your insurance benefits as a courtesy to you, however it is your responsibility to monitor your benefits and provide accurate and up to date insurance information.

Do I need a script from my Medical Doctor?  

No, in most cases, you do not need a script from your doctor to set up your initial evaluation for PT. In NY, you are allowed ten visits or up to 1 month of PT visits without a script. This is called Direct Access. We will be in direct communication with your doctor about your treatments. In some cases, you will need a script. Please call 585-259-0782 to find out if you can participate in Direct Access.  .

Group Fitness Classes

Better Balance Bootcamp

If you are not actively working on your Balance, you are losing it! This class is a 6-week boot camp exercise program to improve your balance and reduce your fall risk. 

Each class uses a combination of exercises to improve posture, functional strength, balance, and agility, and improved balance while strengthening your bones.

Mobile Physical Therapy

Mobile outpatient physical therapy services are now available in Monroe Co, and parts of  Ontario, NY.  These services allow the option to do your physical therapy service in the comfort of your own home.  Sometimes, getting to the clinic is difficult, but regardless of the reason, we can come to you.  Our specialized therapist can come to your home and offer the same great exercises that would be available to you in our Webster or Rochester Clinic.

Wellness + On-Demand

Wellness 360 patients take advantage of our videos, which can be accessed on their own personal time schedules - - on-demand! These videos are evidence-based based, and a plus is the fact that they require minimal equipment to execute the exercises.
